Aussie mauled by wombat
MELBOURNE – AN AUSTRALIAN man who survived last year’s devastating bushfires was recovering on Tuesday after a wombat repeatedly attacked him outside his temporary home, an official said. The 60-year-old, who is living in a caravan while his home in Flowerdale, northeast of Melbourne, is rebuilt following the February 2009 fires, found the animal outside his door.
