i like this episode because it shows the versatility that our countries have and showing that our restaurants have authentic and traditional meals makes people feel comfortable to eat here and not be worried about getting shit modernised food that someones ruined. but i still do also think that he should have shown alot more australian cuisine based kitchens and chefs. the gay asain guy is funny and id learn from him any day of the week

This episode sucks! Who wants to see a travel/food show episode for Melbourne and watch Tony Bourdain eat Middle Eastern food? Give me a break. This is way below Bourdain, and a raw look at a great city and the great food Australia has to offer.

Really!? I way prefer the Town Hall joint (Let alone MKB). Alaysa has crappy bread and too much meat.

Man Rumi is sublimely divine. It’s a crazy long drive for me to get to but I always make reservations when I know I’ll be in the area. And they’re not kidding about the quail. Hands down best birdie in Melbourne.

uuhhhmmmm was this Australia ? weres the Australian food ?
yorgy February 21, 2012
This is barely about Australia. Let’s just remember that he’s a food critic and this show is about food. He has to try the best food Australia has to offer and lets face it, with such rich culture in Melbourne, you’re sure to find the best food in Australia in Melbourne.
